Groupama Gan Film Foundation: 2009 winners

As part of its mission to support creativity, for 2009 the Groupama Gan Film Foundation has selected five new directors who have made their first feature-length film.

As part of its mission to support creativity, for 2009 the Groupama Gan Film Foundation has selected five new directors who have made their first feature-length film. These days the Foundation's support is about much more than financial assistance – it is considered a real quality-label.

The five winners are:
  • • Mathieu Demy (film: Americano)
  • • Cyril Mennegun (film: Louise Wimmer)
  • • Ève Deboise (film: Paradis perdu)
  • • Stéphane Cazes (film: Le sens de nos peines)
  • • Michale Boganim (film: La terre outragée)

In the last 20+ years, the Groupama Gan Film Foundation has:
  • - read more than 2,500 scripts
  • - invited more than 150 professionals to participate in selection committees
  • - supported over 130 films
  • - helped more than 100 producers.
75% of the award-winning films have been shown in cinemas.
